Comfort first: how we plan baby shower makeup

The mom-to-be can sit on a sofa or a chair with good back support, in a room that is not too warm. Our artist works around her, not the other way round. She can take a break, change position or have a snack whenever she wants. We keep the session short and avoid long, heavy techniques.

We use lightweight, premium branded products and keep the layers thin, so the makeup feels comfortable for hours. Strong perfumes and heavy sprays are avoided where possible. If she has any concern about specific products, she should check with her doctor, and we are happy to work with what she prefers or bring her own products into the routine.

Godh bharai makeup with saree draping and mehndi

For a traditional godh bharai, many moms-to-be wear a silk saree or a soft lehenga. A comfortable, secure saree draping that is not tight around the waist makes a big difference, and our artists drape it with that in mind. A low bun or braid with flowers completes the look without pulling the hair.

Mehndi is a sweet part of the day for many families. Our mehndi artist can do a simple, quick design for the mom-to-be — some families like a small motif for the baby — and Arabic designs for the rest of the family.

The mother, mother-in-law, sisters and close friends usually want to look their best too. Tell us the number of people and the time of the function, and we will send one or two artists so everyone is ready on time. Starting rates are on the price list, and the exact quote is shared on WhatsApp before you book.

We are available 8 AM to 7 PM, all 7 days, and work across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, New Chandigarh, Dera Bassi and Lalru. You pay after the service.
