Winter skin prep before New Year party makeup

Late December in Chandigarh is cold and dry, with foggy mornings and heaters running all day. Skin gets tight and flaky, and foundation can settle into dry patches. The best thing you can do is moisturise morning and night for a week before the party and skip harsh scrubs.

On the day, our artist starts with a hydrating prep and a primer suited to dry skin, then keeps the base light so it moves with your face. Shimmer and highlighter sit better on smooth, hydrated skin, so this prep is what makes the glam look expensive rather than heavy. A facial at home a few days before also helps.

Glam that lasts till midnight and after

A New Year party is long. You may leave at 8 PM and dance well past midnight. We use long-wear and HD products, waterproof liner and mascara, and set the base properly so the look holds through dinner, dancing and the countdown photos. For a flawless camera finish, ask for airbrush makeup.

Hair matters too. Soft curls, a sleek high ponytail or a messy bun with a few loose strands all work with party outfits. Our artists can do a party hairstyle right after your makeup, in the same visit.

Group bookings for friends

Getting ready together is half the fun. If three or four friends are meeting at one home, we can send one or two artists so everyone is done on time. Tell us how many people, the time you plan to leave and whether anyone wants hairstyling too.

We work from 8 AM to 7 PM every day, so plan your makeup to finish before 7 PM. Since this is a high-demand evening, please book early and share outfit photos so the artist can plan each look in advance.
