Our artists keep the base light but well set for open sunlight, avoid heavy shimmer that turns shiny on camera, and use waterproof products for windy or warm days. For the smoothest close-ups, airbrush makeup is a popular choice because it looks like skin even in sharp, high-resolution photos.

Planning multiple looks and outfit changes

Most pre-wedding shoots have two to four looks. The easiest way is to start with the lightest look and build up: a natural base for the first outfit, then add deeper eyes, lashes and a stronger lip for the traditional and evening looks. This saves time, because the artist does not need to remove and restart the full base.

Hair changes the mood of each look even more than makeup. Open soft waves can turn into a side braid or a bun with flowers in a few minutes. Ask for a hairstyling plan along with makeup, and tell us if you will need a saree or dupatta set on location.

Touch-ups during the shoot

Long outdoor days mean sweat, wind and dust. If you would like an artist to stay with you for touch-ups and look changes during the shoot, ask us when you call. This depends on the location, timing and artist availability, so we confirm it in advance. We work 8 AM to 7 PM, with early-morning starts on request for sunrise shoots.

If the wedding is a few months away, a shoot is also a good time to test the products and shades you like. Many brides combine it with a pre-bridal package so their skin is in good shape for both the shoot and the wedding.
