Diyas outside, glow inside — Diwali-ready at home
Diwali Makeup at Home in Chandigarh
Want Diwali makeup at home in Chandigarh without leaving a house full of guests, sweets and puja work? Our women artists come to you on Diwali day for the Lakshmi puja look, the family photo look or a card-party look later in the evening, along with hairstyling and saree draping.
The real Diwali glow starts a week earlier. A facial or de-tan at home after the long, sunny months gives the skin time to calm down and look even before the festival. Plan the skin work first and the makeup last, and you will look fresh in every photo.
Diwali looks we love
Lakshmi puja traditional
A silk saree or a heavy suit, warm gold eyes, a neat kajal line, a soft red or rust lip and a bindi. Graceful in the light of diyas and easy to wear while you do the aarti.
Family photo soft matte
A smooth, soft-matte base with gentle colour on the cheeks and lips. It looks natural in flash photos and in fairy-light selfies, and it holds up through a long evening of guests.
Diwali party glam
Shimmer eyes in gold, bronze or copper, a little highlight and a bold or glossy lip. Made for card parties and Diwali dinners where you want a bit more drama.
Indo-western festive
For a saree-gown, a co-ord set or a sharara. A softer eye with a strong liner, glowing skin and loose curls or a sleek low bun.

After a hot summer and a sticky monsoon, most of us carry some tan on the face, neck and arms by October. A facial at home or a de-tan clean-up a week before Diwali brings back an even, fresh look. We use salon-grade products with single-use disposables, and the beautician sets up in your room, so you can fit it between cleaning and shopping.
Do not leave the facial for Diwali morning. Fresh skin can stay a little pink for a day, and makeup sits better on skin that has had time to settle. Threading two or three days before is also wise, for the same reason.
Diwali makeup that handles diyas, sweets and smoky air
Diwali evenings in Chandigarh are cool and dry, and the air can get hazy with smoke. Our artists keep the base light and well set, add moisture where the skin feels tight, and use long-wear products around the eyes. It stays neat through the puja, the meal and the walk outside to light diyas.
A safety tip from our team: pin your pallu or dupatta well before you light diyas or go near firecrackers, and keep loose ends away from open flames. For a fuller festive look with a bun or curls, see our party makeup page.
Booking Diwali makeup for the family
Many homes book makeup for two or three women at once, which saves time and keeps everyone on the same schedule. We work from 8 AM to 7 PM, all seven days, across Chandigarh and the Tricity, including Dera Bassi, Zirakpur, Mohali and Panchkula. Ask about family rates for three or more people when you call or WhatsApp 62837 64566.

Diwali — FAQs
When should I get a facial before Diwali?
About a week before is ideal. It gives the skin time to settle, so it looks even and calm on Diwali day.
Can you do Diwali makeup before the Lakshmi puja?
Yes. Tell us your puja time and we will plan the slot so the makeup, hair and draping are done before the family sits for the puja.
Do you take bookings for the whole Diwali week?
Yes, from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj. It is one of our busiest weeks, so book early for your preferred day and time.
Can more than one person get ready at the same time?
Yes. For groups we send more than one artist or plan back-to-back slots, so everyone is ready together.
Do you charge for travel within the Tricity?
No. There is no travel fee within our service areas, which cover Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Dera Bassi, Kharar, New Chandigarh and Lalru.
