Many brides book two or three body polishing sessions in the weeks before the wedding, often as part of our pre-bridal packages. It also pairs well with waxing at home — just schedule the waxing two to three days before the polishing, not right after it.

When to Book Before a Wedding or Event

For the best glow, book your final body polishing three to five days before the main function. This gives the skin time to settle and look its smoothest on the day. If it is your first time, try a session a few weeks earlier so you know how your skin responds.

Preparation, Privacy and Aftercare

Please keep a room where you feel comfortable, a bed or mat, access to a bathroom and a plug point. Wear loose, easy clothes. Our beauticians are women, and you stay draped with towels throughout. If you have a skin allergy, cuts or a recent sunburn, tell us before we start.

After the service, wait a few hours before you shower, and use lukewarm water, not hot. Skip strongly scented soap for a day and apply moisturiser twice daily. Avoid sun, swimming and heavy sweating for 24 hours. Hard water dries skin quickly, so a good body lotion right after bathing helps the glow last.
