For many students, the farewell is the first time they wear a saree for a full day. A good drape makes it easy to walk, climb stairs, sit and dance without worrying about the pleats. Our artists pin the pleats and pallu securely and adjust the length to your footwear. See our saree draping page for the styles we do.
Wear the shoes you will use at the party while we drape, so the length is right. Keep 15–20 safety pins and a matching petticoat ready. If you prefer a lehenga or a long gown, we can set the dupatta instead.
Natural, age-appropriate farewell party makeup
Young skin does not need heavy foundation. Our artists use a thin base or only concealer, keep the eyes soft and pick lip shades that suit your age and your school or college. If your school has rules on makeup, tell us and we will keep the look within them.
Farewells in Chandigarh are mostly from February to April, when the weather changes from cool mornings to warm afternoons. Group bookings for friends
Getting ready with your best friends is part of the memory. Book together at one home and we will send one or two artists depending on the number of girls. Tell us the reporting time at school or college, and we will plan the start time so nobody is late. Parents are welcome to call and book on behalf of their daughters.

How early should we book farewell makeup at home?
Book about two weeks before. In February to April many schools and colleges hold farewells on the same days, so popular slots go quickly.
Can you do makeup and saree draping for a group of friends?
Yes. Group bookings at one home are very common for farewells. Tell us the number of girls and the time you need to leave, and we will plan enough artists.
Will the makeup be too heavy for a school farewell?
No. We keep school farewell looks natural and light. If your school has guidelines, share them and we will follow them.
How long does saree draping take?
Usually 15 to 20 minutes per person, a little longer for special styles. Keep your blouse, petticoat and safety pins ready to save time.
Do you also do graduation party makeup?
Yes. College graduation parties, convocations and freshers' parties are booked the same way, at home anywhere in the Tricity.
